On what was supposed to be the happiest day of their lives, a bride and groom in Techiman narrowly escaped tragedy when their car was involved in a crash on their wedding day.

The couple, who had just exchanged vows, were en route to their reception when their vehicle collided with another car on the busy Techiman-Kumasi highway.

The sudden impact left their car badly damaged.
