Cape Cost University elevates centre

The University of Cape Coast Center for Continuous Education has been elevated to the status of a College of Education with effect from August this year; and it is headed by a Provost.

The College has four departments- Education, Business, Arts and Medical Education- whose heads assist the Provost to run the College.

This was made known by the Provost of the College, Prof George Oduro in an interaction with the media at Koforidua.

He said the Board of the College was revising the programmes of the college to come out with new ones suitable for students, lecturers and the country.

Prof Oduro said the distance education programme run by the College had given opportunities for working people and people who could not get direct entry into the universities.
