Under the distinguished patronage of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei-Tutu II, the sons, daughters and family of the late Baffuor Osei Akoto have the honour to invite members of the general public to a one-week long celebration of life of one of the major contributors to Ghana’s democratic dispensation and growth.
A number of events will be held from Monday the 3rd to Sunday the 9th of September 2012 in Kumasi.
The programme outline for the one week memorial celebration will be as follows:
• Requiem Mass at St. Peter’s Minor Basilica on Monday 3rd September 2012;
• Visit to Tomb and Pouring of Libation on Monday 3rd Septmber 2012;
• Public seminar at KNUST Great Hall, Kumasi on Friday 7th September 2012;
• Family Gathering from 2:00pm on Saturday 8th September 2012; and
• Thanksgiving High Mass from 10:00am at the St. Peter’s Minor Basilica on Sunday 9th September 2012.
The main event will be the Public Seminar to be held at the Great Hall of the KNUST, Kumasi on Friday, September 7, 2012 from 1:00pm.
Members of the general public are hereby cordially invited.
