City College Accra graduate 138 students

Mr. Raymond Chidiac, Principal, City College Accra (CCA), on Saturday urged students not to think of any short cuts in acquiring education.

He said rather they should study hard in pursuing their chosen carriers to be able to attain their desired goals in future.

Mr. Raymond Chidiac was addressing a graduation ceremony organized at the premises of the Institute in Okponglo near Legon.

A total of 138 students graduated from a three months programme in graphic design, web design and network administration among others.

Mr Chidiac told the students that after acquiring their academic knowledge, they needed to go round the various companies seeking vacancies for their professions and not stay home waiting for a job to be delivered to them on a silver platter.

He added that whatever knowledge they acquire, they should impart that knowledge to the best of their ability.

He urged senior High School students to avail themselves for the programmes offered by the institute as they awaited their results and also take advantage of the language proficiency training in French and English.

A number of students who graduated were from some West African states including Nigeria, Togo, Burkina-Faso and Central African Republic.

Certificates were awarded to the graduates.
