The decomposed body of an unidentified man has been found hanging on a cashew tree in a cashew plantation at Gomoa Potsin in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

It is believed the deceased took his life or was killed and hanged on the tree about a month ago, due to the level of decay of the body which was found on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

The case has been reported to the Gomoa Potsin Police for investigation while the body has been deposited at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Government Hospital mortuary.

The police is appealing to the general public to support them in their investigation.

No arrests have been made so far.
