A Ghana based association, Diamond Capital, has called on benevolent organisations to help sustain the body to minimise the economic hardship especially among the youth.
The call was made by Mr Kofi Adofo, Founder of the association during its first anniversary celebration at Akim Asene in the Birim Central Municipality.
Briefing Ghana News Agency, Mr Adofo said the association was established in March 20, 2013 with 26 people and now have 155 members in 37 branches including 80 executives.
According to him, it was established to assist the youth and the aged financially and also set up financial institutions like banks to support livelihood and the economic standard of the people.
The executives of the association appealed to the members to live in harmony for the well being of the association.
As part of the celebration some groups and towns were awarded for their immense contribution both cash and kind to the existence of the association.
