Mr Karbo, who is visiting the Upper West Region, said this when he addressed the staff of the department.

He said ''our vision is to carve a new image for the TOPD by transforming it into an effective, technically competent and proactive departments of committed, well trained and motivated staff to play an effective role in national development".

The Director called for a positive attitudinal change by all members of staff by turning over a new leaf, reminding them of the poor image of the department in the eyes of the public which has to be salvaged.
