The Director of EKK foundation, Evans Kofi Kwafo, has passionately articulated the crucial role that wealthy individuals in Ghana must play in addressing the needs of underprivileged communities, which are grappling with numerous challenges, including poverty, lack of educational resources, and insufficient healthcare.

He stressed that, these communities are not just facing temporary setbacks but are enduring systemic shortages that hinder their development and well-being.

In his address, he pointed out a pressing issue; "the need for robust governmental oversight in the distribution of resources intended for these communities.

He noted that there have been troubling instances where aid meant to alleviate suffering has been misappropriated or lost during its journey from donors to recipients.

Such mismanagement not only deprives the intended beneficiaries of much-needed support, but also fosters a climate of mistrust and lack of accountability.

This highlights the importance of transparent processes and vigilant monitoring to ensure that aid reaches those it is meant to help.

This message was delivered during a heartfelt donation event at Lake Bosomtwe, where he took the opportunity to personally present vital supplies—ranging from educational materials like books to practical items such as shoes and bags—to school children in the area.

His actions were not just symbolic; they represented a tangible commitment to improving the lives of these young individuals who are often overlooked.

Ultimately, his remarks serves as a call to action for both affluent citizens and government officials.

He emphasized that wealthy individuals must contribute actively to community support initiatives while urging the government to implement stricter oversight mechanisms.

"Together, these efforts can ensure that aid is not only plentiful but also effectively delivered, making a meaningful impact on the lives of those who are most in need".
