Don't use radio to disintegrate Ghanaians -Apostle Larbie

Kasoa (C/R), April 30, GNA-The Founder and Leader of the Power of Christ Mission International Church, Apostle S. K. Larbie, has cautioned people who were poised to use the power of the media to disintegrate the Ghanaian society to put a stop to such diabolical schemes.

Addressing members of the church at Kasoa and Winneba, respectively, at separate meetings, Apostle Larbie said the country needed peace and stability more than ever before to facilitate her socio-economic and spiritual advancement. He said any parochial approach by either individual politicians or group of people to fulfill their selfish interest would put the nation into great danger.

Apostle Larbie asked Churches, Islamic Organizations, and the numerous social groups in the country to help sensitise the people on the importance to be each brother's keeper in all that they do. He said that was the surest means of uniting the citizenry, irrespective of ethnic, political, religious affiliations for accelerated development.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency later on the forthcoming World Cup Soccer Tournament in Germany, Apostle Larbie said his church has planned to embark on intensive month-long prayer for the safety of the Ghanaian contingent.

The Church will also pray tirelessly for divine protection and direction to ensure violent-free matches in all cities where the competition would take place to enable the tournament to achieve its objective of uniting nations through football. 30 April 06
