Ejisuhene urges teachers to use instructional time efficiently

Ejisu-Ashanti, Nov. 13, GNA - Nana Afrani Okese IV, Ejisuhene has called on teachers to use their instructional time efficiently and effectively to improve academic performance of students. He made the call when teachers of Ejisu Experimental M/A Schools called on him at Ejisu to congratulate him on his enstoolment. Nana Okese commended teachers for their hard work but expressed concern about the attitude of some teachers that tarnished the image of the profession.

He pledged to improve the standard of education in Ejisu Traditional Area and advised parents to invest in their children's education instead of spending much money on social activities. They were jointly led by Mr William Manu, Head of Ejisu Experimental M/A Primary, Mrs Gladys Asante Adih, Head of Ejisu Experimental M/A Junior High School and Madam Lydia Amoah, Head of Ejisu Experimental Kindergarten.

They pledged to co-operate with the chief to improve standard of education in the town.
