Evangelist calls Ghanaians to repent from their evil attitudes

Kumasi, Nov 15, GNA - Evangelist Siloam Morgan, a Kumasi-based evangelist, has called on Ghanaians to repent and embrace the teachings of God to help stem corruption.

He said the high rate of immorality and social vices including drug-abuse, indiscipline, alcoholism and prostitution would also be curbed through a strict adherence to the teachings of the Bible. Evangelist Morgan was preaching at the end of a three-day crusade organized by some churches at Tafo-Ahenbronum in Kumasi on Monday. The churches include Pentecostal Life International, Assemblies of God, Christ Apostolic Church and the Church of Pentecost.

Evangelist Morgan stressed the need for Ghanaians especially Christians to preach the gospel to win more souls for Christ and urged them to pray unceasingly to God so that the hardships and difficulties could be minimised.

Mr Francis Ampadu, assemblyman for Tafo-Ahenbronum, advised Christians to eschew negative tendencies and practices that have retarded the development of the country.
