Fire has completely ravaged the contents of a six-bedroom house at Kronom Cement, a suburb in the Ashanti Regional capital Kumasi.
Tenants of the house are still unaware what must have sparked the fire on Thursday afternoon.
The fire service responded to the scene some thirty minutes after the outbreak to contain the fire and prevent the inferno from spreading to other buildings.
Reverend Minister of the Destiny Glory Chapel International, Ebenezer Peprah whose two bedroom apartment was completely burnt, told Ultimate News he has completely lost everything he has worked for.
“All that I have laboured for is gone. I have two bedrooms, a hall, kitchen, toilet and bath and a dining hall and everything is gone.”
“My set of furniture, my dining set, my home theatre, my fridge, microwave, everything is gone including even my wedding suit and my clerical is gone,” he recounted.
He lamented that all his toils after working as a northern sector sales manager for a reputable sales company; working as a pastor and travelling across the world had all gone down through the fire.
Another eyewitness who spoke to Ultimate News expressed concern with the difficulty it took them to place a call to the fire service to come to their aid.
He questioned why the general number of the Fire service had to be transferred to Accra before it gets disseminated to the right station to attend to fire incidents.
