FoB-2008 Foundation swears in new executives

A pro-NPP group, FoB-2008 Foundation, popularly known as FoB’08, affiliated with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has appointed and sworn in new executives to steer the affairs of the group for the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.

The well-attended event, which took place at the ISSER Conference Hall of the University of Ghana, witnessed the swearing-in of both national executives and regional coordinators, who are expected to galvanize support and amplify the vision of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for victory in the 2024 polls.

Sworn in as national executives included: Kingsley Kofi Karikari Bondzie as Director of Elections and Research, Dr. Inusah Abdul-Nasiru as Deputy, Emmanuel Agyin Birikorang as General Secretary to be assisted by Peter Nowurah as Deputy Group Secretary, Mohammed Fawzi A. Amadu occupies the position of Director of IT, Twumasi Emmanuel as Head of Communications, Rev. Opoku Acheampong, National Organizer, and Hajia Nana Fatima High, Women Organizer.

Other national executives sworn in were: Awal Mohammed as the Nasara Coordinator; his deputy, Abdul Nayar Issahaku; Kwaku Baah Ofori, Deputy Finance Director; Barbara Makara-Maccugen, Deputy Women's Organizer; and John Kwame Duodu (Alias Sir John) as Deputy National Organizer.

Samuel Darko and Dr. James Kofi Osei-Owusu were sworn in as Canada Coordinators and USA Coordinators, respectively.

The rest were Dr. Nana Benyin Enninful, who heads policy and research, and
formulation team and his deputy, Dr. Abdul-Jalil Ibrahim, Samira Nayina, Director of Finance, Europe Coordinator, a second national organizer, and two deputy heads of communication.

Also, 16 regional coordinators with the responsibility to streamline the operations of the group in the regions were also sworn in at the ceremony.

Addressing the executives, the founder and chairman of FoB’08, Dr Mahmoud Hamid
Nassir-Deen charged them to bring on board their collective capabilities, strategic insights, and unwavering dedication to ensure victory for the flagbearer and the party.

Speaking on behalf of the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Captain Kwesi Acquah, the Secretary of FoB’08, Emmanuel Agyin Birikorang, stressed that the group is a voluntary organisation with members joining voluntarily for a course they believe in.

He, therefore, urged all the executives to diligently propagate the good works of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP government for a resounding victory in the December polls.

FoB-2008 Foundation, or FoB'08 (Previously Friends of Bawumia), was established in 2008 by some friends, colleagues, schoolmates, and supporters of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to support his political path after the then flagbearer of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, selected him as his running mate.
