Ghanaians urged to unite to develop the nation

Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, Founder and Leader of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), on Saturday asked Ghanaians to unite to enable them to collectively develop the country.

“We must all work together and share ideas Ghana a better place instead of sitting on the fence for it to get spoil, he said”.

Dr, Nduom was addressing the Western Regional Congress of the PPP.

He urged people to the region to unite so the rich resources in the area could be developed for them to enjoy better standard of living.

“The PPP would listen to their concerns and assist develop the region when it comes to power”, Dr. Nduom said.

Madam Mary Ankomah Boakye-Boateng, National vice chairperson of the party, spoke of the need for implementing the constitutional provisional on free education.

She said education must not only be free but must also be compulsory as stated in the constitution.

Madam Boakye-Boateng said the ideals of the party included truthfulness, probity and accountability, transparency and integrity.

In the election supervised by the Electoral Commission (EC), Mr. Eric Asiedu, was elected as the Regional Youth Organizer and Mr. Moses Twumasi Ankrah, Regional Organizer.

Mr. Richard Amoko, Regional Chairman, Mr. Alex Lear, Regional vice chairman, Mr. Bright Nanamah, Deputy Regional Youth Organizer, Mr. Isaac Mensah, Regional Secretary, Mr. Roland Archibold Gyapah, Deputy Regional Secretary and Ms Adjoa Ansah, Regional Education Secretary were elected unopposed.
