Gospel Ministers Applaud Kufuor

Space FM, Sunyani - Some High Ranking Gospel Ministers in Brong-Ahafo Region, have applauded President Kufuor for promoting good governance and deepening democracy which has brought unity, peace and prosperity to the country.

According to the Ministers, "God has destined president Kufuor and his NPP government to make Ghanaians united, peaceful citizens and to ensure accelerated development.

They contended that "addresses of the president at public functions and other meetings always project love, unity and co-operation among the people in the country". The Ministers said these at the well attended wedding ceremony of Mr. Alfred Ofori Annye, the Brong-Ahafo Regional NPP Youth Organizer and the Sunyani Municipal Coordinator for National Youth Employment Programme (NYEP) and Miss. Rita Adjei of Ghana Telecom.

The ministers were Rev. James A. Amaning, the Brong-Ahafo Area Head of the Church of Pentecost, Rev. S.A.Teye, Brong-Ahafo Area Head of the Apostolic Church and Rev. Nana Yaw Adjei of the , Pentecost International Worship Center, (PIWC)Sunyani.

The ministers of the gospel observed that "even though the president belongs to a single party, which is the NPP, he does not use politics to divide the people".

The Reverend Ministers stressed that "such attitudes show that the president is a matured personality who can lead and organize people anytime for developmental programmes". They regretted that very soon president Kufuor’s administration will come to an end adding that "sincere Ghanaians will forever remember his good governance".

The ceremony attracted over three thousand well wishers including the Brong-Ahafo regional Minister, Mr. Ignatius Baffour Awuah, Mr. Osei Asibey, Ashanti Regional Deputy Minister, Mr. Stephen Ntim, former NPP National 1st Vice Chairman, Hon. Kwame Twumasi Awuah, Sunyani Municipal Chief Executive and other District Chief Executives in the region.

Executives of the various political parties in the region were also present as well as National and Regional coordinators of NYEP. Over one thousand youth who have benefited from the NYEP scheme saw it as an opportunity to show gratitude to Mr. Annye for making them employable; while others also saw it as a perfect avenue to present their applications for employment.
