It's imperative to support the needy - Jibril Mohammed

Jibril Mohammed, who leads the JBC Group of Companies emphasized the importance of supporting the deprived segments of our populace.

He made this statement during the commissioning of the Al-Anood School and Clinic at Asuboi in the Eastern Region of Ghana over the weekend.

Jibril Mohammed expressed gratitude to the Qatar Ghana Charity Organization, a humanitarian and development non-governmental organization, and donors for bringing this incredible initiative to Asuboi town.

"Your efforts will forever make a significant impact not only in our community but also in our neighboring communities as well," he added.

Jibril Mohammed who doubles as the head of JBC Charity Organization described the project as a gift to the community and urged the community to embrace it and work together to make it a success.

Nana Beema Boateng, Chief of Asuboi, expressed excitement about the developmental project in the community and encouraged parents to take advantage of it, saying, "No parent should deny their ward of this great initiative."

He also urged JBC Charity and Qatar Charity to consult him if needed, as they are solidly behind the project and grateful for such a developmental initiative in the community.

"Don't hesitate to consult Nanom if you need any help as far as this project is concerned. Our doors are always open to you for any developmental project," he said.

Josephine Awuku Ansaa Inkoom, District Chief Executive of Ayensuano, urged everyone to support the charity project and take advantage of the great benefits it would offer the community.

She advised the people of the community to take care of the project.

She also thanked Qatar Charity for the project, noting that it is a developmental initiative, and said they were willing to help when the project began.

"I would like to thank Qatar Charity Ghana and every person in the community. Periodically, Qatar Charity will come to join us to see how to extend the help to other communities," she added.

Ikram Ahmed, an advocate for women's development and girl-child education, appealed to the Asuboi community and its environs to prioritize education. She reiterated the commitment of the JBC Charity Foundation to manage the facility, so as to build confidence with what she called "the beautiful Arab country Qatar," for better relations to benefit the disadvantaged in Africa.

Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, the National Chief Imam, who commissioned part of the noble project, praised all the stakeholders who made the important project successful.

The Al-Anood School and Clinic has a number of facilities, including a library, mosque, canteen, health facilities, and many more. The commissioning of the project brought together dignitaries, including the National Chief Imam, donors, chiefs, MCE, MP, medical officials, and parents.

Jibril Mohammed, a leading philanthropist, has over the years supported the disadvantaged in society and was honored with the JBC 1 Limited COVID-19 Awareness portrait by the Bridgewater Project in recognition of his organization’s support against COVID-19.

He has been tasked with managing the facility in honor of his support for humanity.

He praised the country of Qatar for its continuous support of development projects in Africa, saying, "May Allah bless the good country for their humanitarian programs for the needy in Africa."
