The health of Kantamanto traders is at risk as they are living under unhygienic condition. The traders are flooded with spillage of hotel sewage which poses threat to their health.

Speaking in interview with Nyankonton Mu Nsem, The traders accused Grand View Hotel as the cause of the flooding.

The traders complained that the drains are overflowing as a result of breakdown of the hotel's chamber and illegal construction over the sewage lines by the hotel management.

This according to them gives unpleasant smell and makes it difficult for them to trade hence encountering loses at the end of the day.

Their efforts to solve the problem have gone down the drain with the Management of the hotel taking no action.

However, in an interview with the manager of the hotel, Frank Mensah refute the claims stating that, the spillage is rather coming from nearby houses in the market hence in consultation with the AMA to take swift action over the issue .

But, when contacted the PRO of Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) Numo Blafo said, they are not aware of the situation and so would send his men to the place to work on it.
