The Ketu South Constituency Secretary for the New Patriotic Party, Macfamous Kudoloh, has expressed great disgust at the turn of events with regards to an alleged mismanagement of finances in the Municipal Assembly.
According to him, an amount of GhC98,000 is missing from the assembly’s coffers as management is unable to explain or give account of what the money had been used for.
He, therefore, appealed to the President to order an audit into the expenditure of the Ketu South Municipal Assembly after Edem Elliot Agbenorwu was appointed Chief Executive.
Addressing a presss conference in Aflao, Macfamous Kudoloh, who critiqued Mr Agbenorwu’s managerial skills said “the assembly’s account must be audited. GhC98,000 got lost, up to this day, the money is no where to be found.”
“That amount of money, where has it gone to”, he exclaimed.
He further stated that Mr Agbenorwu is helping the opposition National Democratic Congress to amass wealth, as he continues to award public contracts to sympathizers of the umbrella fraternity, though the NPP has competent contractors who could perfectly execute same contracts.
“He [Edem Elliot Agbenorwu] has been awarding government contracts to NDC faithfuls... in my native town Klikor, in the Unity School, the contractor who is in charge of a project there is a NDC faithful,” Mr Kudoloh stated.
Mr Kudoloh grieved the MCE’s continues exhibition of misconduct towards NPP executives, sympathizers and fanatics may lead to a crack in the Ketu South NPP if the party’s top hierarchy looks on unconcerned.
“In respect to the MCE’s misconduct, majority of the polling station executives and electoral coordinators are not ready to work with him [Edem Elliot Agbenorwu], for that matter he must honorably resign to save the party”.
