Kofi Adda commiserates with C.K Tedam’s family, signs book of condolence

Ghana’s Minister for Aviation and Member of Parliament (MP) for the Navrongo Central Constituency, Joseph Kofi Adda, has signed a book of condolence opened in memory of the late Clement Kubindiwo Tedam.

The legislator paid a visit to the family house of the late statesman in Paga on Friday where he signed the book of condolence and eulogized the fallen Chairman of the Council of Elders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Mr. Adda was accompanied by some of his constituency executives and friends from neighbouring Burkina Faso.

There, Mr. Adda commiserated with the Paga Pio, heads of the family and children of late Tedam. He prayed for strength for the family.

Speaking to Journalists later, Mr. Adda termed the death of chairman Tedam as a big loss. He added that the late Tedam was an exceptional leader and father and his death has created a huge gap, which according to him will go a long way in replacing him.

He said, “He was endowed with wisdom, understanding and was always ready to serve and guide especially we the younger ones. He was a great educationist”.

Clement Kubindiwo Tedam, prior to his death was a veteran politician and Chairman of the Council of Elders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He died in Ghana’s capital Accra on April 26, 2018. He was 94 years old.



There has been array of dignitaries from Ghana’s political landscape pouring in at his family house to eulogize the late statesman who has contributed immensely to the development of Ghana and especially the Northern sector.

His mortal remains which was flown in and received by the family and a government delegation will be laid to rest today, Saturday June 22, 2019, at his family house in the Paga Pio Palace.

Earlier, Joseph Kofi Adda, through his office made donations towards the funeral of the late Tedam.

His donation which was in two parts saw the Paga Traditional Council receive a bull, bags of rice, cartons of tin tomatoes and drinks, gallons of oil, 500 pieces of C.K Tedam customized t-shirts and an amount of Ghc 2,000.

The second donation which was in equal quantity and amount went to the Chiana-Paga NPP fraternity.

The donations, his office said, is to support the family to refresh the thousands of mourners who will join the family to see off late Tedam.
