The Chief Executive Officer of Kofi Job Constructions Limited, Mr. Kofi Job, has donated GH¢1 million to support needy patients at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in the Ashanti Region.

The donation aims to help patients who, despite being discharged, were unable to leave the hospital due to unpaid medical bills.

On Tuesday, October 29, 2024, Mr. Kofi Job and his wife, Esther Otchere Gyebi, presented a check to the hospital's leadership.

The gesture is expected to benefit hundreds of patients owing the facility.

During the visit, Mr. Kofi Job and his wife toured various wards, praying with patients and providing additional financial support to some.

Speaking to OTEC News Reporter Jacob Agyenim Boateng, Mr. Kofi Job explained that his motivation was to support the vulnerable in society, driven by his love for humanity.

Mr. Kofi Job urged well-to-do individuals to emulate his gesture and support those in need.

Dr. Okyere Addai Mensah, CEO of Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, expressed gratitude to Mr. Kofi Job, noting that the donation will enable patients to settle their debts and reunite with their families.

He added that the GH¢1 million donation is expected to cover half of the hospital's total patient debt.

Dr. Addai Mensah said Mr. Job's gesture will go a long way to help the facility as it will ease some financial burden on them.
