Let’s put Ghana first-Sheikh Harun Cisse

Sheikh Mustapha Harun Cisse, Ashaiman Chief Imam, has underscored the need for Ghanaians to place the welfare and development of the nation over and above their individual parochial interests.

He pointed out that the nation was bigger than everybody, and for that matter, nothing should be done by any group of individuals, to disturb its peace and stability.

Sheikh Harun Cisse made the call when he interacted with the Ghana News Agency at his Roman Down residence at Ashaiman over the weekend.

He, therefore, urged Ghanaians, especially Christians and Muslims, to co-exist peacefully, and in a concerted manner, contribute their quota towards national development.

Sheikh Harun Cisse advised the youth to desist from indulging in social vices in order not to ruin their lives, but rather engage in productive ventures that would make them self-reliant.

On the forthcoming District Assembly Elections slated for March 3, the Ashaiman Chief Imam advised contestants to conduct their campaigns in a healthy and peaceful manner, devoid of insults and acrimony.
