Dwantoahene of the Lower Dixcove Traditional Area in the Western Region Nana Akomah Blay III has commended Gold Coast Holdings for supporting Ragja Construction with funds to put up the Dixcove Sea Defence.

Receiving a delegation from Gold Coast Holding led by Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, he heaped praises on the company as he noted the project is already yielding results for his community.

He disclosed that two other companies who came to the site abandoned the job due to lack of funding.

To that effect, Nana Akomah Blay III expressed gratitude to the firm for its support towards the establishment of the defence wall to protect properties from tidal waves which have long caused havoc in the area.

He also stated that with the help of the community some infrastructural facilities have been put up thereby urging citizens, particularly cooperate bodies to extend more support that would help improve the area.
