MP Donates to four communities in Ningo

Prampram, March 20, GNA -- The Member of Parliament for Ningo/Prampram constituency, Mr Enoch Teye Mensah on Friday donated 250 bags of cement worth over seven million cedis to four communities in the Ningo Prampram Traditional area to construct school blocks. The communities which benefited from the gesture were Koni-Kablu, Dawa, Lotsubuer and Mangotsonya.

Mr Mensah said the donation, which was funded from his share of the MP's common Fund was in response to an appeal made by the people to assist them construct school blocks for their communities. He noted that the communities have many children and it was necessary for them to be educated so that they could also become useful citizens of this country in the future.

He used the opportunity to advise the people to make sure they register to enable them to exercise their franchise in the forthcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.

The MP asked the people to disabuse their minds that the two weeks registration exercise is for the New Patriotic Party and National Democratic Party and said it was for all Ghanaians irrespective of the person's political affiliations.

The people however, appealed for Polytanks to store water in the communities since they have no potable water in the area.
