As part of efforts to ensure quality and easy access to health facilities, the Member of Parliament for Yagba-Kubori constituency in the Northern region, Yakubu Yussif has donated an ambulance to the Yiziesi health center in the constituency.

The ford ambulance vehicle worth thousands of Ghana cedis according the MP, will leverage the people from the difficulty in accessing health facilities in emergency situation in the area.

Over the years several people including pregnant women lost their lives due to the lack of ambulance service to respond to emergency cases in the area.

Handing over the ambulance vehicle to the chief of Yiziesi for onward submission to the authorities of the Yiziesi health facility, Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party ( NPP ), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia indicated the party’s readiness to respond to the social needs of the people.

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia mentioned pro-poor government policies under the erstwhile Kuffour administration such as the National Health Insurance Scheme, Free Maternal care, the Youth Employment Programme among others as some of the social intervention that every Ghanaian can attest to which the NDC are ridding on as their achievements.

He said an NPP government under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo will ensure every individual benefits from the proceeds of the economy through it robust Socio-Economic policies and programmes.

He, therefore, appealed to the people to retain the NPP member of Parliament for the area and as well vote massively for the party come November 7.

The Member of Parliament in an address enumerated the number developmental projects he has executed ranging from education to health. According the inductions are vivid to juxtapose why he should be retain as an infant MP manning an infant and deprived constituency.

He assured the people his determination to ensure that they have quality education, health and well as enhance their farming activities to improve crop yield and bumper harvest when the NPP wins the 2016 elections.
