The Mansoman Senior High School (SHS) in the Amansie West District has been presented with a 32-seater bus to end its years of struggle with transportation.

This was procured by the government through the Education Ministry and it was presented to the school on behalf of the Sector Minister by the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Joseph Albert Quarm.

He said it was a demonstration of the government’s commitment to education development.

He added that it was eager not only to ensure that there was access but the provision of the needed logistics and the right environment to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.

The MP reminded the school management to see to it that the bus was properly maintained, to prolong its lifespan.

He announced that Mansoman “has been selected for upgrading into a model SHS”.

Dora Atigbire, the acting District Education Director, receiving the ignition key, said it was a welcomed relief.

She used the occasion to encourage the teachers to continue to work hard and with passion to aid the students to live their academic dreams.

Michael Antwi Manu, the Headmaster, said it was a dream come true.
