The Wassa Youth Forum has condemned the DCE for Mpohor, Hon. Ignatius Asaah Mensah for using unprintable words on a member of NPP who wanted to know his developmental record and that of the MP for Mpohor.
In a statement signed by David Cameron Abekah, Communication officer of the Forum, it said there is nothing wrong for NPP members to demand development records in the Mpohor district.
The statement said two years ago, President Akufo-Addo cut the sod for road construction from Apowa to Mpohor, but nothing has been done.
The Wassa youth group said it is shameful for a DCE and MP to think that they cannot be questioned or criticized constructively when President Akufo-Addo has said Ghanaians should be citizens and not spectators.
The Forum said they will organize series of demonstrations against the DCE and MP for Mpohor after some people in the area have been described as villagers and do not know anything.
The Forum alleged that both the DCE and MP for Mpohor show arrogance of power and have forgotten that it was the same people who stood in the sun and voted for the NPP.
The Forum called on President Akufo-Addo and the NPP to pay attention to what is going on in the Mpohor district because the people are not satisfied with government performance and officials in the area.
The Forum said an impending political disaster will not be good for the NPP because the DCE and MP behave as if they are next to God, and cannot be criticized constructively.
