NAGRAT throws weight behind national leadership

Cape Coast, April 1, GNA - The Central Regional Council of the Ghana National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) has expressed support for the Association's national leaders.

A communiqu=E9 issued by the Regional Council after a meeting in Cape Coast on Thursday, stated 93we are solidly behind the National Leadership of NAGRAT and strongly continue to repose confidence in their professionally competent administration". The communiqu=E9 singed by Mr. Odartey Jonathan, Regional Secretary of NAGRAT, said the Association operates an open door policy and that any group or individuals who are not satisfied, are welcomed for fruitful discussions.

It said if there were any resentment among members of the Association, such individuals or group should tender in their proposals for the amendment of the constitution for consideration at congress, the highest decision making body of NAGRAT. "We in NAGRAT shall not do anything to set aside the constitution of our noble Association", it added and gave the assurance that it would continue to handle the welfare of teachers with utmost competence.
