A member of the National Executive Committee of the incoming ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), lawyer Wonder Victor Kutor, has successfully graduated with a Master of Science (Major Management) from the University of Florida, USA.

He was among the over 250 graduates with many of them being students from the US and Europe.

The graduation ceremony, which happened on Saturday, December 14, 2024, took place at the O'Connell Center in Gainesville, Florida, USA.

With the attainment of this additional educational laurel, Kutor, who is a lawyer and a former SRC President of the Ghana School of Law, is expected to bring his knowledge to bear on the country and his political party, which has just won an election with an overwhelming majority in Parliament.

Speaking in a telephone interview, he expressed delight for his latest academic achievement.

“It was not easy. I had to shuttle between the US and Ghana to be able to achieve this. I remember I had to leave campus and fly down to Ghana to attend a crucial NEC meeting in Adabraka. Also, I had to finish the course by October 2024 so I could be in Ghana throughout the final stages of the campaign. This means that I had to do more credit hours within a short period but I thank God I passed all papers in spite of the difficulty,” he said.

He added that, “At a point, I almost deferred the programme but I give thanks to the Almighty God who is the giver of life and health for the spirit of perseverance and resilience.”

Wonder Kutor is also an alumnus of the University of Ghana and the University of London, where he read sociology and law, respectively.

Lawyer Kutor, who played a key role in the campaign of the NDC ahead of the 2024 parliamentary and presidential election in Ghana, explained that he needed to rush back to continue to work for the NDC as the party continues the transition process in Ghana.
