Nkoranza South Municipal Assembly to set targets for revenue collectors

The Nkoranza South Municipal Assembly has set revenue mobilisation targets for its revenue collectors to monitor their performances as part of efforts to improve upon revenue mobilisation.

In addition, the Assembly would be compelled to lay off non-performing revenue collectors, especially those on commission basis, while permanent revenue collectors who perform below expectation would be transferred.

Mr Raymond Gbedoah, Nkoranza Municipal Coordinating Director announced this at the first general staff meeting of the Assembly at Nkoranza.

He cautioned staff of the Assembly against lateness, absenteeism and laxity at work and warned that those with poor attitude.

Mr Gbedoah called on departmental heads of the Assembly to ensure that their subordinates report to work on time and close within the stipulated time.

Mr Ebenezer Amoah, Municipal Development Planning Officer said the Assembly would soon establish a staff welfare fund to cater for welfare needs.

Nana Kwang Bediako, Principal Personnel Officer of the Assembly, called for collaborative efforts of the staff towards the effective development of the Municipality.

Mr Patrick Agyenim-Boateng, Municipal Finance Officer said staff of the Assembly would be provided with Identification Cards in order to win the trust and respect of the public.
