Northern and Upper regions to experience cloudy weather conditions-Meteo

The Northern and Upper regions will experience cloudy conditions with chances of isolated cases of thunderstorms tonight.

There is a high probability of a thunderstorm being experience in most parts of the northern sector later tomorrow afternoon, the Ghana Meteorological Agency said on Sunday.

A statement from the Agency said isolated cases of thunderstorms/showers are expected over the coastal, forest and hilly area tonight and tomorrow afternoon.

The night over the coast will be relatively cool. Tomorrow afternoon will be relatively stable with isolated thunderstorms in these areas.

The Northern, Upper East and Upper West are expected to be cloudy, sunny with thunderstorms with Northern Region; having a minimum temperature of 23 and maximum 33, Upper East; minimum 27, maximum 40, Upper West; minimum 25, maximum 33.

Brong Ahafo and Ashanti regions will be cloudy with isolated thunderstorms with the following temperatures: Brong Ahafo; minimum 24,maximum 34 and Ashanti Region; minimum 24, maximum 35.

Volta Region and Eastern Region are expected to be cloudy, misty, and sunny with isolated thunderstorms, with Volta Region having a minimum temperature of 24 and maximum 34 and Eastern Region; minimum temperature of 24 and maximum 35.

Western, Central and Greater Accra will be cloudy, misty, and sunny with isolated thunderstorm. The minimum weather condition for Western is 25, maximum 31, Central; 26 and 31 and Greater Accra 26 and 32.**
