OMSU 2004 & 2014 Year Groups Gives Back: Refurbishes and Donates Essential Medical Equipment to Mawuli School's Clinic.

The 2004 and 2014 year groups of the Old Mawuli Students Union (OMSU) have marked their 20th & 10th anniversaries with a remarkable act of philanthropy, refurbishing and donating essential medical equipment to the clinic of their alma mater, Mawuli School.

This generous gesture is aimed at enhancing the healthcare facilities available to over 4,000 students, ensuring they receive quality medical attention whenever needed.

The donation includes vital equipment such as hospital beds, oxygen concentrators, nebulizers, and first aid kits. The total value of the project is GHS 200,000 with the support of PayAngel Inc.
PayAngel Inc. is a remittance and fintech company focused on making sure that, the African Diaspora can make payment for goods and services in their home countries easily.

According to the President of the OMSU 2004 year group, Mr. Eli Ampim "As we celebrate these significant milestones, we wanted to give back to our beloved school in a meaningful way.

We recognize the importance of access to quality healthcare, especially in an educational setting. We hope this contribution will make a positive impact on the lives of Mawuli School students."

The Project Director, Mr. Abdul Halim Alhassan also reiterated “We recognized the need to upgrade the clinic’s infrastructure to meet HEFRA accreditation to serve the students and community around the school.”





The handover ceremony, which took place on the school premises, was attended by representatives of the OMSU Executive Council, the OMSU 2004 & 2014 year groups, school administrators, teachers, and students. The event was marked with speeches, presentations, and a tour of the refurbished clinic.

The OMSU President, Mr. Richard Nyarko expressed gratitude to the OMSU 2004 & 2014 year groups for their kindness and generosity. "We are deeply thankful for this wonderful donation. The refurbished clinic and new equipment will undoubtedly improve our ability to provide quality healthcare services to our students.

This philanthropic effort by the OMSU 2004 & 2014 year groups serves as a shining example of the positive impact that alumni can have on their former schools and communities.

As the groups celebrate their 20th & 10th anniversaries, their selfless act will have a lasting impact on the lives of Mawuli School students for years to come.
