Ajumako (C/R), Dec 22, GNA - Nana Kwamena Hammah
Ababio II, President of the Ajumako Assin Traditional Council has
urged king makers and family heads to be innovative and to always
use the appropriate channels to seek redress when
misunderstandings arise between them and their chiefs. He made the call when Nana Afrasie Brempong VII, Odikro of
Ajumako Assin Twiekroo was sworn before him and the entire
members of the Traditional Council at Ajumako on Friday. Nana Hammah Ababio advised the king makers to collaborate
with the chiefs to ensure that they work creditably towards the
development of the area. He entreated Nana Brempong VII to make himself accessible to
the people and always be ready to listen to their grievances,
suggestions and ideas, that together they could build a sound
society. "You must always remember that you are elevated to that
leadership position to serve those who pushed you there, but not
use it as an opportunity to lord over them" Nana Hammah Ababio
cautioned him. Nana Ababio stated that some people in their quest to seek
leadership roles always made themselves available for the position,
but the story became different after they "get to the top". He advised Nana Ababio to use the opportunity to unite the
people, initiate programmes and projects that will be beneficial to
the people. Nana Afrasie Brempong who is known in private life as Eric
