Ohempon Yeboah Asiamah pays courtesy call on Dormaahene, advocates Bonoman unity

The Omanhene of the Atebubu Traditional Area, HRM Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah, has advocated for greater collaboration among the Bono people as a key strategy for achieving sustainable development and progress.

By working together, HRM Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah believes all the Bono States can effectively tackle common challenges and have a stronger voice in influencing policies and decisions, which will eventually create greater opportunities for their respective communities.

During a historic visit to the Dormaahene and President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, Oseadeyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II, at the Abanpredease Palace, HRM Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah underscored the need for Bono people to rally around a common sense of purpose and advocate their needs and interests to promote development in their respective jurisdictions.

“We need to be united as Bono people to accelerate progress in our respective states. A united front will help us address common challenges more effectively and promote development, which is essential for achieving sustainable growth and improving the well-being of our communities," HRM Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah stressed.

He further applauded Oseadeyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II for his sterling leadership and the good work he is doing for the progress of Bonoman and the country.

“I want to commend you for your exceptional leadership and contributions because your efforts are not just improving Bonoman but also setting a precedent for sustainable development across Ghana. Thank you for your unwavering commitment and exceptional leadership”, he added.

Oseadeyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II, on his part, expressed his gratitude to Ohempon Yeboah Asiamah and his entourage for the historic visit and promised to sustain the cordial relationship that has long existed between the two paramountcies.

The visit by HRM Ohempon, Dr. Yeboah Asiamah, is the first meeting between the two traditional leaders since he ascended the Owusu Asare Stool of the Atebubu Traditional Area in July 2022.

He was accompanied on the trip by Nana Owusu Sa-Kofi (Nifahene), Nana Ofori Yeboah (Twaffourhene), Nana Asare Baffour (Ntotoeɛhene), Nana Boakye Yiadom (Kyeame), Nana Atta Gyan Katakyie (Sompahene), Nana Akosua Gyambea Adeɛpena (Nkosuo Hemaa), Dr. Kennedy Bomfeh (Chief of Staff), and a host of other dignitaries.
