Osino (E/R), July 14, GNA - The overflowing banks of River Abrasu

and Anaso at Akyem Asamana, in the Atiwa District is posing serious threat to the transportation of food stuff to the marketing centres. A survey by the Ghana News Agency (GNA) revealed that heavy rains and lack of solid bridges in the Eastern Region-based farming community, is compounding the problems of the farmers who are hit by post harvest losses. Mr Yaw Adu Sarkodie, an opinion leader told the GNA at Akim Asamama that the situation is making life extremely difficult for the people.
