Jonathan Teye Doku, District Chief Executive (DCE) Ningo Prampram District Assembly (NiPDA), has appealed to Ghanaians to pay critical attention to the needs of orphans to make them feel loved and accepted by society.

The District Chief Executive made this call when he commissioned a three-unit classroom block for the Heart of the Father Outreach (HFO) orphanage at Old Ningo in the Greater Accra Region, as part of activities to celebrate his birthday.

Mr. Doku said Children were gifts from God to every country and their needs must be met to help them become responsible citizens.

Mrs. Beatrice Olenu, NIPDA district director of education, expressed gratitude to the DCE and promised that the facility would be put to good use.

She added that, other benevolent organizations should emulate the gesture of the District Chief Executive and help raise the standard of education in the District.

The construction of the three-unit classroom block was sponsored by the DCE, NEK Ghana Limited and ENERCON Ghana limited.

The Heart of the Father Orphanage was established in 2017 and had 72 children and 4 teachers.
