Mr Adongo Ayamga Ashai, a Polling Station Chairman at Namibia, Akosombo and a delegate in the impending NPP parliamentary primaries in Asuogyaman has donated a whooping GH 2,000.00 to support the campaign of Mr Paul Asare Ansah who is an NPP Parliamentary hopeful in the constituency.

Mr. Ayamga, a Head Cleaner at VRA indicated that his contribution which he saved over one year period was in support of Mr Ansah's solid vision to develop Asuogyaman especially in the area of education.

An obviously shocked Mr Ansah thanked Mr Ashai, noting that his kind gesture has demonstrated a deeper understanding of democracy which is uncommon in Ghana's political space.

He added that, the unprecedented gesture of Mr Ashai follows a similar initiative by over 500 polling station executives in the constituency who contributed monies to pick forms for him a few weeks ago.

Mr Ansah, who is widely expected to win with a huge margin observed that these political developments in Asuogyaman are redefining the meaning of politics in Ghana.

Mr Ansah was very optimistic that his expected victory would provide leadership of trust and commitment to the wellbeing of the masses in Asuogyaman and Ghana as a whole.

Present at the event were Mr David Sosu, the Constituency Organizer and Mr Divine Akutey, the ATL Electoral Area Coordinator.
