Bolgatanga, July 27, GNA – The Presbyterian Church in the Bolgatanga Municipality on Wednesday appealed to the Ghana Education Service to re-open the Presbyterian Junior High School (JHS) in Bolgatanga.
Reverend Richard Kumah, Pastor in-charge of the Church, made the appeal at a meeting with the Bolgatanga Municipal Education Directorate.
He said the church had observed with dismay the plight of the Presbyterian Primary school’s pupils completing Primary six without getting a JHS to attend.
He said when the church gets the nod to re-open its JHS a new block will be built to house the students.
He said two classrooms were available to accommodate the first batch of 48 pupils from primary six to JHS one.
He said he was happy with the partnership of the church and GES.
