Pru District constructs community centre

Yeji (B/A), June 30, GNA - The people of Yeji in the Pru District of Brong-Ahafo Region are constructing a GH¢200,000 community centre, which would boost tourists' attraction as well as serve as income generating facility. The centre comprises a conference hall, a store house, reception, an open place for public gathering and a guest house. It is expected to be completed in five years. Speaking to newsmen at a communal labour, Pemampem Yaw Kabrese V, Omanhene of Yeji said the town is noted for its commercial activities, notably fishing.

He thanked non governmental organisations, philanthropists and other public-spirited organisations for supporting the community's development efforts in diverse ways.
