School Fees Ghana has set aside about One Million Ghana cedis (GhS 1,000,000.00) to pay school fees for pupils and students at all levels of education in the country.

This is to enable parents and students to access this school fees facility in the next academic year which begins in July 2016/2017.

School Fees Ghana is an organisation that helps to pay school fees of pupils, students and workers at all levels of education.

According to the licensed Bank of Ghana financial institution, this is to lessen the burden of parents and students who do not readily have money to pay the school fees.

Mr. Robert Kofi Amoako, Board Chairman, School Fees Ghana stated this after the board reviewed the institution’s performance last academic year.

He added that, additional Five Hundred Ghana cedis (GhS 500,000.00) is been arranged for, with partner financial institutions who believe in education to come and help reduce school drop outs in the country due to school fees.

“Over three thousand students and pupils from all levels of education benefited from our facility last year.” He said.

According to Mr. Amoako, parents who are actively employed in any field of endeavour may come to School fees Ghana for assistance irrespective of their income levels.

He added, School fees Ghana is seeking collaboration with tertiary institutions in the country to enable them introduce their product to all students, especially the fresh students at their orientation programs.

According to him, with the co-operation of the tertiary institutions in this drive, more students can pay their fees promptly thereby improving the defaults rate at the universities.

Mr. Amoako asked all irrespective of the level of education, both private and public to call on School fees Ghana for assistance since education is the key to national development.
