Mrs Yaa Aframa, the Principal of the Sefwi-Asafo College of Health in the Waiwso Municipality, said the College has instituted COVID-19 safety measures to ensure the safety of students when they return to write their exit examinations.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency on how prepared the College was to welcome the final year students, Mrs Aframa said the College had acquired nose masks and hand sanitizers to be distributed to all students.
She said Veronica buckets, soaps and hand sanitizers would be placed at all entry points to ensure students, teachers and workers washed their hands before entering and exiting the Campus.
All final year students are to report on Monday, June 15, at 1600 hours and any student who came late would not be allowed entry, she said.
"The College is fully prepared and has put adequate measures in place to avoid the spread of COVID-19 among staff, students and the College Community."
Mrs Aframa said health professionals would also be around to screen the students before they are allowed entry.
Lectures would be held for students in bigger lecture halls to ensure social distancing in compliance with the President's directive.
"Students will not be allowed to go out of campus until they are done with their final exams," she said.
She advised the first and second-year students to continue to take all quizzes and assignments via the College's E-learning platforms.
