Wa, April 11, GNA - The Upper West Regional Co-ordinating Council (RCC) on Saturday organised a send-off party for its outgoing Regional Co-ordinating Director, Mr Daniel Amadu Nyankamawu.
Mr Nyankamawu, 54, is on transfer to the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development after three years service in the Region as Director of RCC.
The Regional Minister, Mr Sahanun Mogtari, the five District Chief Executives, regional heads of government departments and agencies as well as the staff of the RCC, attended the reception.
Mr Mogtari said Mr. Nyankamawu was hard working, duty conscious and a pleasant personality whom he enjoyed working with and urged him to demonstrate those qualities at his new office.
Mr Nyankamawu advised civil servants to be open hearted, humble in the discharge of their official duty, eschew prettiness and to be truthful to their political bosses.
He and his wife, Muniratu were presented with gifts by the RCC, District Chief Executives and the Civil Servants Association.
