Special Voting at Hohoe records no hitch

The special voting exercise for election officials and the various security personnel to man the general elections on Friday, commenced in the Hohoe North and South constituencies without any hitch.

The short queues, which built up before the start of the exercise at 0700 hours vanished with the lines reducing to between four to six voters as the voting progressed.

According to Mr Kwabena Karikari, Hohoe Municipal Director of Electoral Commission, 450 and 155 made up of security agencies and EC officials, respectively in the Hohoe North and South, were expected to exercise their franchise.

Mr Seth Gbi and Mr Emmanuel Denoo, presiding officers at the Hohoe and Golokwati Police stations where the voting took place, said the exercise went on smoothly.
