Stanbic Boss Andani enskinned chief in Northern Region

The Managing Director of Stanbic Bank Mr Alhassan Andani, was over the weekend enskined as the Chief of Pishigu in the Northern Region.

Pishigu is a farming community in the North and the traditional town's skin is the preserve for the sons and grandsons of Yaa-Naa.

Mr Andani, 58, and a royal of the Andani gate will now bear the skin name PISHI-NAA Alhassan Andani.

He is the son Sagnarigu Naa Abdulai Andani

He joined Stanbic Bank in 2006 after leaving Barclays Bank as its Deputy Managing Director.

He is also a shareholder of Ghana Premier League Giant Accra Hearts of Oak.

Mr Alhassa Andani the grandson of Naa Andani who ruled Dagbon in the colonial era, therefore, qualified according to the customs and traditions has been enskined the chief of Pishigu.

Alhassan Andani was born in Banvim near Tamale on November 24, 1960.

Mr. Alhassan Andani, BSc, MA serves as the Managing Director Chief Executive and Executive Director of Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited. Mr. Andani served as an Executive Director of Barclays Bank of Ghana Limited. Until June 17, 2005. He serves as the Board Chairman of the Ghana CSIR (Council for Scientific & Industrial Research) and a director of SOS Villages Ghana. He has been an Independent Non-Executive Director at Gold Fields Limited since August 1, 2016.
