The President of the Breman Essiam Traditional Area, Odeefo Afankwa III has offered an office accommodation to the Central Regional branch of the Stool Land Commission.
The decision was taken after the Liaison Officer of Stool Land Mr Samson Kwasi Acquah and his team explained to Nananom on the need and operation of the stool land in the district.
Mr Acquah explained that the law compels tenants and settler farmers to pay annual stool land revenue for occupying such lands for agriculture purposes and that there was a special rent to be paid annually for plots acquired for residential, industrial and commercial purposes.
He said the establishment of such an office would also help immensely in promotion and growth of internal generated revenue for the Assembly in the various traditional areas
The Adontenhene of the Traditional Area, Nana Akomanyi III also offered another office accommodation to serve the interest of the district.
The Omanhene appealed to the government and the DCE for the area, Mr Peter Light Koomson to expedite action on the construction work on the Breman Essiam to Assin Manso road which he stated was in a deplorable condition.
