Stop criticisms Christians told - Church leader

Apam, April 19, GNA - Bishop Albert Kwesi Hackman, Leader of the Apam branch of the Church of the Lord, has called on Christians to stop criticising Judas Iscariot for betraying Jesus Christ when they betray their leaders.

Bishop Hackman pointed out that "we hero-worship our new leaders only to turn round to chastise them later".

In a sermon on Sunday to mark the resurrection of Christ, the Bishop called on Christians to unite and reconcile with the neighbours. He urged Church leaders to lay emphasis on the teachings of Jesus and the scriptures and stop attaching importance to the acquisition of material things at the expense of spiritual development. Bishop Hackman urged them to stop looking down on other Churches since their Ministries alone could not claim to have "the magic wand to heaven".
