Sector Commander of the Customs, Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS), on Friday called on personnel of the service to continue to perform their duties creditably to generate revenue for the government. He made the call in a farewell address at his "pull-out" ceremony at the Takoradi Port. Mr. Sewor, who served the CEPS in various capacities for 32 years said personnel should take advantage of facilities in the service to improve revenue collection.
He urged them to work as a team and co-operate with the in-coming sector commander, Mrs. Mawuse Esi Dadjo, to exceed revenue targets. On her part, Mrs. Dadjo praised Mr.Sewor for his exemplary leadership and hardwork which should be emulated by all. She said Mr. Sewor would be missed by personnel of the Service and his departure had created a vacuum. Service Commanders and officials of the Service from the various collections and headquarters of CEPS were among the large number of people who attended the ceremony. 24 Jan. 09
