Techiman, July 10, GNA- Techiman District Assembly has set up a four-member team to recover loans it granted under the Poverty Alleviation Fund (PAF). The team, headed by its Presiding Member Mr Emmanuel Twi-Yeboah, will identify all beneficiary groups and individuals and remind them to pay back or face prosecution. He said the assembly received 2.730 billion cedis under the HIPC Fund and has taken delivery of two gari processing machines from the Ministry of Women and Children's Affairs under the Poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS). On the Assembly's Common Fund projects Mr Osei-Antwi said the construction of area and town council offices at Nsuta and Tanoso had been terminated. He commended the two Members of Parliament (MPs), Mr Prince Oduro-Mensah and Mr Isaac K. Adjei-Mensah, for their cooperation and transparency in the disbursement of their allocations of the common fund.
