An acute water shortage has hit several communities in the Tema East district, including Saki-Bediako, Michel Camp, and Golf City, for several days.

The situation has significantly disrupted the daily lives of residents, prompting urgent calls for the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) to address the issue and provide clear explanations for the prolonged disruption as reported by myjoyonline.com.

According to the report, a resident of Tema, called Sampson Ampah, said the water supply issue is extensive and has affected other areas.

“I am talking about a very large catchment area. I am talking about Saki-Bediako, Golf City down to Kpone, parts of Tema and community 25, for the past four days, no water is flowing through the line. Michelle camp, even the military, no water is flowing. It’s very terrible,” he noted.
