Agona Swedru, (C/R), April 12, GNA- Three Liberian truck pushers, have been remanded by an Agona Swedru Circuit Court, for allegedly breaking into a shop.
James Cisscoe, Momo Sherif and John Masaquoi pleaded not guilty to the charges of unlawful entry, and stealing and they would appear in court on April 27, for sentence.
Prosecuting, Police Inspector Comfort Darko told the court presided over by Mr Robert K.K. Asaase that the complainant is a refugee trader at Gomoa Buduburam refugee camp with the accused persons.
She said on March 30, 2004, at about 2200 hours, the complainant closed her shop and went out and when she returned on the next day she detected that the shop has been broken into.
According to the prosecution, the shop owner did her own investigations and found that the three accused persons and two others, now at large broke into the shop.
She told the court that the matter was reported to the Budumburam police and the three were arrested.
