Utrak Financial services support Assin North Best Teacher Awards

Utrak Financial Services, has presented a cheque for GH?1,000 to the Assin North Municipal Education Directorate in support of this year’s Best Teacher Awards programme, at Assin Fosu, in the Central Region.

Making the presentation on behalf of the company, the Marketing Officer, Mr Eric Osei Bobie said Utrak believes that education holds the key to development.

He said because of the vital role teachers play in ensuring quality education and development, their welfare is very dear to the heart of the company hence the donation.

“If you can read and write then the least you can do is to thank a teacher.

Teachers are those who train and churn out the human resource required by the nation to keep the wheels of our nation running,” Mr Osei Bobie stressed.

The Municipal Director of Education, Ms Vida M. Odoom, who received the cheque thanked the management and staff of Utrak Financial Services for the gesture and appealed to other corporate entities to help motivate teachers for them to ensure quality education.

She expressed gratitude to the Chief Executive Officer of Utrak, Mr Kwabena Atuahene for personally donating a number of hampers for the award winners.

In February Utrak responded to an appeal for funds by the parents of a nine-year-old Justice Amui, with a donation of GH?7,000 to facilitate efforts for him to undergo surgery to rectify a hole-in-heart medical problem.**
